A graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, she combines exceptional clinical expertise with a lifelong passion for animal health and well-being.

Before pursuing veterinary medicine, Dr. Campos earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans in 2003. Inspired by her childhood equine veterinarian, Dr. Chapman, and driven by her deep love for animals, she followed her true calling and embarked on a rewarding career in veterinary medicine.

A native of Terrytown, Louisiana, Dr. Campos developed her appreciation for animals at an early age through hands-on experiences with horses and family pets. Today, she is committed to providing personalized, high-quality care to every patient she treats. She especially values the unique bond between people and their pets and approaches each animal with the same care, compassion, and attention she would give her own.

Dr. Campos is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Florida Parishes Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), and the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association. She is also USDA accredited, allowing her to offer a broad range of veterinary services to her clients.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Campos enjoys spending time with her beloved animals, including her Quarter Horse, Forrest, her pony, Gump, and her two Toy Poodles, Mandi and Rikki. She also loves attending live music events and making memories with family and friends.

Savannah N. Ory, Lead Veterinary Technician

Savannah has been working in veterinary medicine since 2020 and quickly established herself as a dedicated and skilled technician. With a background in emergency veterinary medicine and a passion for continued growth, she is currently enrolled in a 2 year veterinary technician program working towards becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician.

A Harvey native who also spent time living in Virginia Beach, Savannah joined our team as Lead Technician and immediately felt like the perfect fit. In fact, we knew she belonged here from our very first phone conversation. Her natural leadership, curiosity, and eagerness to learn make her an invaluable part of the clinic.

At home, Savannah stays busy with her three dogs and two cats. When she’s not caring for animals, she can usually be found playing video games, searching for the next great restaurant with her best friend/boyfriend, or convincing her coworkers to try some questionable food she discovered. A self-proclaimed foodie, Savannah is always up for a culinary adventure—and she’s also known for keeping Dr. Campos entertained with plenty of bubblegum-pop such as Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo.

Her enthusiasm, sense of humor, and commitment to learning help create a positive and energetic environment for both our team and our patients every day.

Veronica A. Spaide, Veterinary Technician

Veronica Spaide has dedicated more than 20 years to veterinary medicine, turning a lifelong passion for animals into a rewarding career. Born on the East Coast and raised in Louisiana from infancy, Veronica has always had a special connection with animals. From a young age, she knew she wanted to spend her life caring for them, and that passion continues to shine through in every patient she helps today.

Veronica joined our team after being recruited by Dr. Campos, with whom she previously worked at another veterinary hospital. Their shared commitment to exceptional patient care made her a natural fit for our practice. With over two decades of experience, Veronica brings extensive knowledge, compassion, and a calming presence that both pets and their owners appreciate.

At home, Veronica enjoys spending time with her beloved dog, Honeybee, and loves expressing her creativity through painting during her downtime. She is also a proud mother to her two grown sons, Beau and James, who remain one of her greatest accomplishments.

Known for her generous spirit and positive attitude, Veronica is often the one bringing snacks to share with the team, helping create the welcoming, family-like atmosphere that makes our workplace special. Whether she’s caring for patients, supporting her coworkers, or brightening someone’s day with a thoughtful treat, Veronica’s kindness and dedication make a lasting impact on everyone around her.

We are proud to have Veronica as part of our veterinary family and grateful for the experience, warmth, and compassion she brings to our team every day.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.”
